Extensive Renovation in Fairfield, Ca
Interior and exterior completed
This was a renovation job we completed in Fairfield. It had a lot of deferred maintenance and update needs that needed to be completed within a modest budget. The end result was an affordable joy for the new owner to move in to after the renovation was complete.
The bathroom remodels included some location changes for better flow and useability of the tub, shower, toilets, and vanities. In the master bathroom we benefited by gaining a 60″x32″ shower base over the existing 36″ square corner pan.
In the guest bathroom we created an alcove tub surround by converting the corner tub only to a tub/shower with bypass glass shower enclosure. Considering the bathroom was already exactly 60″ (standard bath tub length) not sure why they hadn’t done that originally.
Both bathrooms were done in cultured marble tub and shower surrounds. Holcam glass enclosures, these come with lifetime warranties. We installed new vanities with matching cultured marble tops.
We widened the kitchen by several feet and opened it up with a walk through into the dining room while re-framing the wall. We installed new oak cabinets, solid surface counter tops, new kitchen appliances, sheet vinyl flooring, and recessed lighting.
Overall interior home improvements included wood floors, new interior and entry doors, mirror bypass closet doors, numerous sheet rock repairs, new texture, and paint throughout.
Exterior home improvements included a new roof after fairly extensive dryrot repairs, all new dual pane window replacements, fencing and gates, landscaping, paint, and driveway.
