Complete Interior Remodel Project
Some of the renovation details
The guest bathroom was built using a porcelain steel tub. The master bathroom we used a Swanstone neo angle shower base. Both bathrooms have Delta anti-scald valves, cultured marble surrounds, and Holcam enclosures. We removed the short pony wall in the guest bath and framed in a full height wall to allow converting the tub only to a tub/shower. Both bathrooms were completed with Kraftmaid cabinetry, matching cultured marble tops, and Delta faucets. The finished flooring is Armstrong resilient vinyl flooring in a nice tile pattern.
The kitchen was built with Kraftmaid cabinetry, Dupont solid surface countertops with molded in sink, and all new plumbing fixtures. We installed all new appliances and added recessed lighting. The flooring again is Armstrong.
During the remodel we removed a wall to create a great room that flowed through the front entry much nicer still allowing a somewhat separated formal dining area off the kitchen, and transitioned nicely into the family room. This flow was enhanced with wood flooring that carried through these rooms and into the hallway. New carpet was laid in the bedrooms.
All original aluminum windows were replaced with Jeldwen dual pane vinyl windows for energy efficiency and we replaced the aging central heating and air conditioning system.
The remodel was made complete with newly textured walls and ceilings finished with fresh interior and exterior paint. This project is just one example of how a home can be renovated on a set budget with beautiful quality results.
