New interior doors

Doors can be a great way to change the look of your home. There are lots of door panel style choices to choose from, and most times these can be changed without tearing out the jamb and casing. New doors can be fit to size and installed with existing hinges and door knobs. We can also install the new doors complete as pre-hung with jambs if your door frames need replacing also, then trim with new casing of choice.

Pocket doors

I see so many of these original pocket doors using the J track system that over time become difficult to open and close without jumping off the track. We can replace the door slab if you want a new look, or just replace the track system to get your door working smoothly again. We use a heavier duty double roller system that rides inside a U track. This means that it will operate much smoother and will no longer jump off track becoming stuck.

Fire rated doors

Fire doors are required by code when the door is separating the garage from the living area of the home. These doors are rated to withstand a garage fire from entering the living area for a minimum of 20 minutes. These include a label attached to the door showing they’ve been tested and approved to meet the code requirements. Fire doors also require self closing hinges so that the door is sure to always be closed, in case a fire does break out.

Front entry doors

Entry doors aren’t just about getting into your house, they can be one of the first style statements made to visitors. The sky is the limit with so many styles and colors to choose from, as well as materials like wood, fiberglass, and steel. You can pick solid panel or with lites, including side lite options for larger door openings. They are also very important to the weather insulation of your home. More often than not, a complete replacement of entry doors are the best option. Pre-hung entry doors come complete with weather stripping and threshold to insure a good seal when properly installed and adjusted.

Sliding patio doors

Patio doors can over the years become out of adjustment as the house settles, and rolling mechanisms wear out. If you are having a difficult time opening and closing your sliding patio door we can look to see if it just needs some cleaning and adjustments or whether a new replacement is what’s needed to get you a smooth operating door again. We can also look at replacing the sliding patio door with a french style door that swings open instead. French doors will give you more style options but aren’t always an advisable replacement for sliding doors though. if they are in a location that gets directly hit by winter storms wind and water, they can be a bit tricky to keep from leaking due to their design and may be a better choice if the opening is already more protected by patio covers or roof overhangs. Not all doors are created equal, so some french doors may be better than others with weatherization in mind.
